Cynthia Utterbach's new project "Tribute to Billie Holiday" is a pristine body of work and a treasure trove of wonderful gems. The debut single “Don't Explain,“ is an example of one of those exquisite gems. Recorded at the Bamboo Bar in Bangkok Thailand, the arrangement included Alex Sergueenko on violin was well-conceived. I found this body of work to be both undeniably relevant and engaging.
